52 weeks - Champagne

I never ended up finishing Luna Jubilee's 52 Weeks challenge from last year.  Already I'm behind a few weeks but I'll try to make as many weeks as possible this time. Champagne which I interpreted for New Years is the first color. 

My friend let me borrow his new laptop and I'm enjoying 3.0 on it. Not only that but I'm finally able to see Mesh items. I've tried shadows but it seems like I'm not fated for those.

52 Weeks of Color - Sky Blue and White

I am hooooooooribly behind on my 52 Weeks challenge. They're already talking about doing a 53rd week of rainbow colors. I think I'm going to have to buckle down and do a quick snapshot of each color. But I do have the next 2 in line as regular pictures. I remember this one took days to figure out what to do. First I did a fantasy picture, then something completely silly before I found this little trailer park. Unfortunately, I no longer have the SLurl for this location but just know it was a great trailer park. The entire look actually started with the jeans.

Waiting for someone perhaps? Did her lover who promised to take her away from this place forget the date and time of said "saving"? Or could it be that she lost something valuable to the dogs behind her..and now has to wait 24 hours to get it back. LOL, who knows but I really did enjoy taking this picture.

This one is not as expressive as the last one. This one took longer because its so easy to go overboard with white. Trust me, this was the last in a dozen outfits I had picked out. This image was more about the fireflies that kept fluttering around in the picture. I took it because of them. Again I don't know where I was but it was very beautiful.

My first Blogger Review - Visions by A:S:S

I'm by no means a fashion blogger. I'm merely a tiny little fish in a huge sea of bloggers. So when Photos Nikolaidis asked on Plurk if anyone wanted to review his new eyes I jumped at the chance! Visions by A:S:S (Another Stupid T-Shirt Shop) is just a new section of their store. Pho started making eyes and soon realized that a spot was needed.

52 Weeks of Color - Red, Teal, Electric Lime, Ecru, and Umber

You better believe your bottoms that I'm catching up and doing it fast. Want to know why? Because I'm moving in about a weeks time and I won't have the internet for awhile. Rather then get behind, I want to quickly pick up where I left off and ZOOM til I get caught up.

This one was a tough one mainly because red could be so easily overdone. Glam Affair added a skin to The Dressing Room Blue with the most gorgeous, red matte lips I'd ever seen. The eyes are Asian but they don't look right on my shape so remembering I had a blindfold from Illusions they were softened. Strangely it started a bondage look that you see above. I really like the photo.

Teal isn't a big choice in my inventory. I like blue and I like green but together it's off for me. Luckily though, I still had some clothes from the now closed [AV] store. Poses that work with skirts are always a problem, but this time it was no problem at all with a Glitterati pose. The outfit itself looks dated so adding knitted stockings from Jane, sneakers from HOC and the Want hairstyle from [e] gave it a 50's/60's look.

This was one I've been wanting to do. I have these older panties from RAWR in colors that remind me of the 90's. The only problem I had was where to wear them. Luna using Electric Lime gave me that chance! SLink's boots were a perfect match for the bold color of the Lime panties and since she sorta, kinda looks like a lady of the night..a kiss to the shoulder from her last lover?

This one was super hard. Ecru is an interesting color and I took it as the unwashed linen side of it. I think I nailed it but who knows right? Now I did use this hair for another of the 52 weeks but this was the best one for this. I have the black and white pack of it and being that my hair is always blue, changed a streak to it. This is another shot where, if you noticed, my nails are colored. All of them come from RezIpsa Loc who I aaaaaadore.

Lastly was Umber, which after digging through my Pixel Dolls folder, I was able to find the right outfit. Feeling sexy and elegant in one outfit is hard to pull off but the right amount of skin shown and the largest amount not makes this up. It also felt like an older piece to me so I paired it with a pair of boots I snagged on a hunt from [soap] a long time ago. To make it slightly modern, I tacked on some hair with a beanie like hat on just for fun.

52 Weeks of Color - Emerald and Black

For this challenge, it's easy to over do it. Some of my first pictures were color from head to toe. Luna herself actually does a small pop of color and it works beautifully. I don't know if I captured the same here with Emerald but I tried. I think I might have actually given a different hue but the spirit is still there all the same.

I didn't want to do typical black. In my mind I saw a sea of Gothic outfits kinda like my last post. I stumbled into JANE and found my outfit. It was cute, fun and flirty. Plus I loved the cute ruffle on the shorts.
